90% of seniors prefer to live at home*
As our population grows older, living independently is more and more common. The vast majority of senior citizens prefer to “age in place,” that is, remain in their homes and communities. It’s also more affordable, compared to assisted-living or residential communities specifically for seniors.
With our desire for independence, an array of factors can come into play, both for those wishing to maintain an active, meaningful lifestyle, and their friends and families who want to support them. Managing the details so that older adults can afford to remain safely independent is the goal of the Village Network.
For less than a dollar a day and with a single phone call, Village Network members have access to a wide array of affordable concierge services when they need it. This enables members and their families who may be very far away to feel confident that when a non-medical need or situation arises, the Village Network is there.
